Houston, we are a go.

Well, the doctor said Rae is pregnant. Good to know that our
suspicion is true. They heard the heartbeat today and it is fast,
making it seem like a girl. But Rae has been much less sick this
time than she was with Matisse, making her think it is a boy.
Anyway, time will tell! I'll take either. Cute little stinkers! I
love 'em. The doc gave Rae a note for the insurance companies,
allowing her to get this expensive medicine to help her not be so
sick. So this is good news. Just a little update.

Ultra Sound Number 1

I'm home this morning with Noah and Matisse while Rae is off to her
doctors appointment for the first ultra sound to check the baby. I
hope everything is fine and goes well. Can't wait till we find out
if it is a boy or a girl. We are thinking it is a boy. When we find
out for sure, I will open up a contest for baby names or something.
You can submit them and I can laugh at them.

Some thoughts

I used a bit of the money from my recent photography job to purchase
the Adobe CS2 Suite upgrade. Why? Hmm. Well, I need to get a
better handle on CSS and the new GoLive has great support for it. It
is much easier to design with a div in the new GL. I have been
working in the CS2 demo this past week. And then I was on the CS2
beta for PhotoShop and InDesign, and they are both great apps.
Anyway, I'm excited for it to arrive at some point this month.

Tonight I am working on a brochure for a friend. I'm finding that it
has been a great while since I have been working in InDesign. Much
to my dismay, it is actually a bit hard for me to get the groove of
page layout again. But I think I've got some good ideas flowing.
Besides, his business is for File / Records storage and he has these
kinda big trucks I think he'll let me use to move in the coming
months. Will be a good trade.

Tonight I will also sleep on the couch. I have a head cold and keep
Rae awake. So, Matisse and Rae are snuggled in bed together. I just
checked on them. Sleeping comfortably. I think I'll go throw in the
new Cinderella DVD I got for the kids and go to sleep watching it.

Here is another thought for the night. I have to speak in church
next Sunday. Any Mormon readers ( I think there are 2 ) will know
just what this means. Any not familiar with the religion might
think, "what? are you part of the clergy or something?" Or not.
Not sure. Anyway, they have been trying to get me to speak in church
for well nigh a year now. I've managed to evade it using some
skillful and sinful lies. LOL ( man, I'm going to hell ) But this
time, they know I'm moving out of the ward area soon and said they
really want Rae and I to speak. Well, Rae is too sick. All we need
is a discourse on sickness in the first trimester to really get the
spirit of the lord into the people. So, thinking this would be a
good out for us: it was. For Rae only. They still want me to
speak. They asked 2 weeks ago. Last Tuesday, I saw one of the
councillors in the leadership, and told him it was not to late for
him to reverse this. He laughed and told me they all look forward to
hearing me talk. Oh boy. This is going to be good. I'll let you
know how it goes. Always a bit nervous standing up in front of 300
people and speaking.
